You can delete any source you’ve personally added to Outmind at any time if you no longer need access to it.

This action does not affect your original documents.

❌ Deleting a Source You've Added

To remove a source from your personal space:

  • Click the menu icon (three dots) to the right of the source you want to delete.

  • Click “Delete”

  • A confirmation message will appear — click “Delete” again to confirm.

📁 Does This Delete the Original Files?

No, of course not.

Deleting a source in Outmind does not delete the documents from the original tool (Google Drive, OneDrive, SharePoint, etc.).

It simply removes the indexing from Outmind, meaning the files will no longer appear in your search results.

🔒 What About Sources Shared by My Administrator?

Some sources may be shared with you by an administrator (e.g., a team drive, project workspace, etc.).

In this case:

  • You cannot delete the source yourself

  • The “Delete” button will be greyed out (disabled)

  • Only the administrator can manage these sources

📝 Good to Know

You can reconnect a deleted source at any time.

If you delete a source by mistake, simply add it again using the “+ Source” menu.
