🖱️ How Does It Work?
To preview a document:
Simply click on the document in the results list or from your search results.
The preview opens instantly, without leaving Outmind.
Use your mouse wheel or trackpad to scroll through the document content.
📄 What Content Can Be Previewed?
The preview feature supports a wide variety of formats—including those often found in compressed or archived files.
Here are the main supported types:
✅ Files
PDF, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
Files stored within ZIP or RAR archives
✅ Emails
Individual email messages
Files from PST or MSG archives (Outlook backups, etc.)
✅ Chat Messages
Conversations from Teams, Slack, and other supported collaboration tools

Outmind lets you interact with content directly from the preview window:

Previews respect user access rights — if you don’t have access to a document, the preview won’t be available.
