Outmind lets you open the search bar at any time using a keyboard shortcut, giving you instant access to your documents, messages, and content—without interrupting what you're doing.
⚙️ Default Shortcut
If you have installed the Outmind app on your computer, you can bring up the search bar by pressing:
Ctrl + Space (on both Windows & Mac)
✏️ How to change this shortcut?
You can easily customize the shortcut from the app:
Open the Outmind app installed on your computer.
Click on your profile (bottom-left corner).
Select Keyboard Shortcut.
Choose your new shortcut (e.g.,
Ctrl + Alt) and confirm.
Your new shortcut will take effect immediately.
🔐 Good to Know
Make sure to choose a shortcut that doesn’t conflict with system shortcuts or those from other apps.
The shortcut only works if the Outmind Desktop app is properly installed and running.
