To allow your team members to sync their Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint, OneDrive, Outlook) with Outmind, you must validate access from the Microsoft side.

Here’s how to grant the required permissions on your Microsoft tenant.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Log in to your Outmind account
Make sure your Outmind email matches your Microsoft admin email address.

2. Click this link to launch the permission request:
👉 Validate Permissions

3. Choose your administrator account
⚠️ If you don’t select an admin account, you won’t be able to authorize the required permissions.

4. Approve the requested permissions
A Microsoft window will open — review and accept the required scopes.

If you’re not logged into your admin account, you’ll be redirected to a generic permissions error page.

5. Wait 5 to 15 minutes
Propagation may take a few minutes on Microsoft’s side before becoming effective.

6. Verify the access is granted in Outmind
To do so:

  • Log into Outmind with a non-admin user account

  • Try adding a SharePoint source

If a permission prompt still appears, double-check the configuration in your Microsoft Azure Portal.

🛠️ Note:
It’s not uncommon for Microsoft to delay or fail some operations on first attempt. This is a propagation issue independent from Outmind.
