What is this option?
By default, Outmind opens on the Search view.
Administrators can now choose to open Outmind directly on the Assistant view instead.
This aligns the experience with AI-driven workflows by bringing users straight into the conversational interface.
Why set the Assistant as the homepage?
In some organizations, most use cases rely on:
AI conversations,
summaries,
assisted drafting,
business Q&A.
Landing on the Search view first may add an unnecessary step.Setting the Assistant as the homepage simplifies onboarding and reduces confusion.
Who can enable it?
Only administrators can define the homepage.
The setting:
is configured at the team level,
applies to all members of that team.
It cannot be customized per individual user to ensure a consistent experience.
What changes for users?
Home button behavior
👉 The feature configured as the home page is also the one that opens automatically when Outmind is launched.
👉 The Outmind logo can then be used at any time to return to this home page.
The Home button redirects to the configured homepage:
If Search is the homepage → it returns to Search.
If Assistant is the homepage → it returns to Assistant and starts a new conversation if needed.
